The  trailer for the Southland Tales was supposed to debut the first week of September but is has not been shown yet. Maybe it has been pushed back. Hopefully we will start seeing something since the movie is set to come out Nov. 9th 2007! Anyways I have a few production stills and posters:

On Friday September 21st, The Disney Channel will be running a promo for “The Rock Block” featuring episodes of Hannah Montana and Corey In The House which both guest star The Rock. They will also have a special sneak peek at The Rock’s new movie (more…)

Dwayne Johnson’s next movie project will be a remake of the 1975 movie “Escape from Witch Mountain .” It will be a Disney movie called “ Witch Mountain .” Johnson said it will be a family action/comedy and be a major Disney summer release movie 2009. He called it by far the biggest movie he’s ever starred in and were talking about it as a possible movie franchise. Anna Sophia Robb (“Terrabithia”) will be the little girl co-star. They haven’t yet cast the female lead love interest. Because of the heavy special effects, the movie is already being worked on, with production scheduled to start in March.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is in talks to star in “Witch Mountain,” a modern re-imagining of Disney’s 1975 adventure movie “Escape to Witch Mountain.”

The story follows a pair of siblings, endowed with paranormal powers, who go on the run from a diabolical group of men who wish to exploit their abilities. Johnson will play a Las Vegas cab driver who is in for the ride of his life when he picks up the duo. (more…)

Minnesota Public Radio posted a very interesting article on Dwayne:

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is in the midst of a major transition. After years pounding the snot out of people in the wrestling ring, and then getting medieval over space demons and bad guys in various action movies, his new movie “The Game Plan” has him playing - a dad.

Johnson is in the Twin Cities to promote the film which opens in late September. He’s an imposing fellow, but remarkably easy with the succession of inkstained wretches who paraded though to talk with him today. (more…)
